Norwegian pedophile arrested by immigration authorities

A NORWEGIAN pedophile wanted by authorities in Oslo, Norway for molesting minors was arrested by agents of the Bureau of Immigration (BI).

BI Commissioner Jaime Morente identified the foreigner as Alexander Calapini-Solberg, 53 years old, who was arrested in Brgy. 48-A Cabunggaan, Laoag City, Ilocos Norte by operatives of the BI’s Fugitive Search Unit (BI-FSU).

Solberge is considered a high-profile fugitive wanted in Norway for consecutive cases of sex offenses filed against him by the court.

We are going to deport him for being an undesirable alien. His continued presence in the country poses a serious threat to our Filipino children, anyone of whom could be his next victim,” says Morente.

The BI chief said he released a mission order to arrest Solberg upon the request of Norwegian authorities, who informed the bureau that Solberg is already an undocumented alien because his passport was already revoked by the Norwegian government.

According to BI-FSU’s Rendel Ryan Sy, an Interpol Red Notice was issued against Solsberg on December 2021 based on the arrest warrant issued against him by the Folio Og Norde Ostfold District Court in Norway.

His arrest warrant was based on not less than four counts of molestation of children on several occasions.

Solberg is currently detained at the BI warden facility in Camp Bagong Diwa in Taguig City while waiting for deportation proceedings.
