“No Leave” for PCG personnel from December 15 to January 7 next year

THE Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) said it will implement a “No Leave Policy” starting December 15 up to January 7, 2023.

According to PCG spokesperson Commodore Armand Balilo, this policy will be in effect as long as the PCG is under heightened alert status in said period due to the expected exodus of passengers for the Christmas season.

PCG Commandant Admiral Artemio Abu already stated earlier that they will deploy 25,000 personnel for Oplan Biyaheng Ayos: Pasko 2022.

According to Abu, all Coast Guard districts, stations and sub-stations in the entire country are already under alert to ensure a safe, secure, convenient, and comfortable travel for all Filipinos.

When we are on heightened alert, all of us are at work. Our personnel are strategically deployed all over the country.”
