National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) Chief Major General Debold Sinas called on to public to provide any information regarding the whereabouts of an active Muntinlupa City cop wanted for murdering a Cameroonian national in Pasay City.
This follows after the investigation conducted by the Pasay City Police that Corporal Leonel Layson was confirmed to be the main culprit who shot and killed Divine Komfum, alias “James” on October 26.
According to Pasay City Police Chief Colonel Erickson Dilag, Corporal Layson’s cellphone number was no longer to be contacted and he is also nowhere to be found particularly in several specific areas where he stays.
Earlier reports said Corporal Layson will surrender together with his girlfriend Katrina Fernandez, who also his accomplice to the murder.
Both suspects are implicated in an investment scam where Komfum was one of their victims.
Fernandez was also identified as the one who rented a car that had been used as their get-away vehicle after killing Komfum.
