THE Muntinlupa City government will provide P11 million pesos to the provinces that have been severely devastated by previous typhoons in the country.
The amount will be given to towns in the provinces of Catanduanes, Albay, Camarines Sur, Batangas, Oriental Mindoro, Cagayan, and even Marikina City which was also devastated by the floods.
Mayor Jaime Fresnedi said the amount is the contribution of the Muntinlupa local government to help residents in need of assistance during disasters.
The mayor hopes that financial assistance will help in the rehabilitation and recovery of the provinces that have been pummeled severely by previous typhoons that includes the towns submerged in floodwaters.
