THE new headquarters of the Manila Police District-Traffic Enforcement Unit (MPD-TEU) now has a new headquarters for its personnel.
The new HQ is located along Blumentritt in Manila.
According to MPD Director P/Brig. Gen. Leo Francisco, the Manila police should provide “above standard” service and job efficiency because the headquarters has high expectations since the equipment provided by the MPD were also of high standards.
P/Brig. Gen. Francisco also assured that public service will be of top-notch quality because of the support provided by the city government of Manila to the MPD.
The former headquarters of the MPD-TEU was located along the Port Area in Manila, and does not befit the needs of Manila’s traffic police personnel.
Now, they have a proper office that they can call “home” while they discharge their duties as traffic policemen responsible for keeping a smoother flow of traffic along the city’s streets.
Aside from the new building, patrol vehicles used by MPD-TEU traffic personnel in the performance of their duties will have unlimited supply of gasoline since the building sits right beside a gasoline station.
Manila Mayor Francisco Domagoso led the inauguration of the facility, which he said costs about P30 million.
