THE Manila Police District (MPD) announced its readiness in implementing security measures in the city for the upcoming All Saints’ Day 2022.
MPD Director Police Brig. Gen. Andre Dizon said he already ordered the deployment of police personnel at the Manila North Cemetery and Chinese Cemetery to ensure that there will be no untoward incidents a day for the deadline set for the cleaning of cemeteries.
The MPD is also closely coordinating with the Makati City Police to help secure the Manila South Cemetery wherein they will be assisted by force multipliers.
Even places of recreation, malls and historical sites in Manila will be guarded closely by police to prevent the occurrence of all forms of criminal activities.
People who reside in cemeteries, on the other hand, were also advised to follow guidelines and to also help in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness.
Meanwhile, Gen. Dizon reminded police personnel to maintain self-discipline and perform their jobs to the best of their abilities.
