The Bataan Provincial Agriculture Office (PAO) has recorded more than P20 million worth of damages in crops and fisheries by the recent onslaught by Typhoon Ulysses in Bataan.
According to a report from the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) the damages on high value crops including rice in Balanga City were recorded at P2,270,000.
Meanwhile, in Morong town, damages in rice and corn crops has reached to P17,250,297.50.
In total, the amount of damages from agriculture products including in fisheries from the towns of Dinalupihan, Hermosa, Morong, Balanga City, Pilar and Orion pegged at P20,465,925.
Assessments are still being conducted in other towns regarding agricultural and infrastructure damages while the number of families stayed in various evacuation centers remained at 776 or 3,025 individuals.
