The “Init factor” or the index that combines air temperature and humidity to give an apparent temperature was at 39 degrees Celsius.
But according to PAGASA assistant weather chief Ana Solis, temperatures may still go up in the coming days or weeks since the dry season has just started.
The hottest temperature in the country, on the other hand, was registered at San Jose, Occidental Mindoro, which reached 37 degrees Celsius.
