MAYOR Joy Belmonte visited the newly rehabilitated Project 2 Public Market in Barangay Quirino 2A to inspect the facility and engage with the community.
During her visit, the mayor listened to the suggestions and concerns of the vendors and assured them that the local government would address their needs.
The market now features 87 stalls categorized into fruit, meat, chicken, fish, and vegetable sections.
Additionally, all stallholders are members of the Paleng-QR program, allowing for seamless digital transactions for customers.
Mayor Belmonte was joined by Chief of Staff Rowena Macatao, Market Development and Administration Department head P/Col Alex D.J. Alberto (Ret.), City Engineer Atty. Dale Perral, District 3 Action Officer Atty. Tommy de Castro, and Barangay Chairperson Marian Garlit during the inspection.
