Magnitude 5.1 earthquake jolts Burgos, Surigao del Norte

A magnitude 5.1 earthquake shook the province of Surigao del Norte early morning today, Thursday, November 5, 2020.

According to Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs), the quake was recorded 10 kilometers southeast of Burgos town at 2:27 a.m.

The quake had a depth of 28 kilometers and was tectonic.

Instrumental intensity 2 was recorded in Surigao City.

No property had been reportedly damaged and even aftershocks due to the quake.
