2.5% inflation rate recorded in October

Inflation rate or the increased in the price of commodities, basic goods and services recorded in October, 2020.

According to the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), inflation rate increased by 2.5 percent in last month, compared to the 2.3 percent recorded in September.

Rising food prices particularly in meat, fish and vegetables have contributed to its inflation.

Barbershop services also rose by 7.6% in October, and education costs for private schools also rises.

It also recorded an increase in fares specifically for tricycles and jeepneys.
