Looking forward to a recovery in 2022

There’s no doubt 2021 was a tough and challenging year for all of us because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Nevertheless, there was a silver lining as far as Italpinas Development Corp is concerned. First,  I am happy to say that we were able to navigate well through the entire year.

I am also extremely delighted with the performance of IDC. Thanks to our hardworking team, IDC’s  green units in the different projects have been warmly received by the market. We have also strengthened our back-office operations to make the company’s operations more efficient. We were also able to harness the power and benefits of technology to help the company navigate the challenges in 2021. Our heavy use of software and the implementation of the work from home setup also helped IDC’S staff to maintain its productivity.

In 2021, I witnessed the incredible commitment and hard work of all IDC employees. Despite the difficulties brought by the pandemic, our people have shown resilience, motivation, and above all unity. For me, this is the most important lesson. Despite the herculean challenge facing an organization, as long as the employees and the leaders are united and committed to the vision and mission, organizations can overcome difficult situations.

I would also like to mention that our partnership with JLL is a milestone for IDC. As a world-class organization, JLL brings a lot of knowledge, expertise, and capability to our partnership. We look forward to working with JLL in 2022.

I sincerely hope that 2022 will be the year of recovery to enable millions of Filipinos to contribute and participate in the economic activities of the country,  Aside from the economic situation, I’m referring also more to the general situation   At this time, we all aspire and pray that there will be a stable environment and balanced recovery.   I am also hoping there will be fewer restrictions to our movements so we can again meet our friends and families and rekindle our ties, friendship, and camaraderie to enable us to enjoy the good times again. One thing is still important. We must still practice caution to ensure the health of our loved ones. We also have to get vaccinated to ensure not only our health but as well as of our loved ones. There is no doubt that the last two years have stressed the importance of being physically connected to each other. We also have realized the importance of being together which strengthens our bond in these ‘interesting’ times.

May we all have a blessed and prosperous 2022.
