FORMER Commission on Elections (Comelec) Commissioner Rowena Guanzon is suing National Youth Commission Chair Ronald Cardema for libel and unjust vexation.
The complaint was filed by Guanzon at the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office this morning.
Guanzon said the complaint stemmed from the relentless attacks by Cardema against her.
The former poll body official insisted that if Cardema has any complaint about her, he should have filed a case in courts or faced her personally.
Cardema earlier accused Guanzon of forcing the representatives of the P3PWD Partylist to back out and pave the way for the substitution of the former Comelec official.
Prior to this, Cardema already filed a petition with the Comelec to contest Guanzon sitting as a partylist representative.
