KTV bar in Quezon City raided by Task Force-Disiplina

THE Quezon City government’s Task Force Disiplina has raided a known KTV Music Bar in the city located along Timog Avenue on Saturday, November 28.

At least 30 customers have been issued a ticket each by the task force for violating existing health protocols.

However, according to Music 21 KTV bar manager Alex Cruz, their customers are “considerably” safe compared to other bars and establishments because customers who came in are all with their relatives or colleagues.

Cruz also explained the capacity of the KTV room is for a maximum of 40 people and the number of their visitors during the raid was only about ten.

However, the task force said the management of the raided bar must make an appeal to the Quezon City government so that they will not be fined or shut down due to the violation. Under the General Community Quarantine (GCQ) guidelines issued by the IATF, KTV operations are still prohibited.
