Insurance Firm Wins ESG Award for Single Moms Program

Insurer Allianz PNB Life was lauded for its efforts to empower single mothers after its MaPanatag program received the ESG Initiative of the Year award at the 2026 Insurance Asia Awards in Singapore.

The recognition honors organizations that demonstrate excellence in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives through programs that create meaningful and lasting impact.

The insurer’s MaPanatag program was launched to support single mothers by providing access to insurance protection, wellness benefits, and income-generating opportunities, helping them achieve greater financial security while caring for their families.

Through MaPanatag, we sought to address the realities faced by millions of single mothers in the Philippines by giving them the support and confidence to build a more secure future for themselves and their families,” said Rozanne Magararu, Allianz PNB Life Chief of Staff and Chief Marketing Officer. “We share this award with all of them for pushing us to create solutions with purpose and meaningful impact.”

At the heart of the initiative is Allianz PNB Life’s eAZY Health insurance product, which offers life and health coverage designed to meet the unique needs of single mothers who often shoulder both caregiving and financial responsibilities.

Participants also gain access to HerBox, a health and wellness ecosystem powered by Allianz HealthBox. The program provides wellness credits worth up to P2,000 during the first year and P1,000 in succeeding years, along with discounts and benefits from partner merchants to help ease everyday expenses.

Beyond insurance and wellness support, MaPanatag also promotes financial independence by giving qualified single mothers an opportunity to join Allianz PNB Life’s distribution network. The initiative enables participants to earn additional income while building sustainable livelihoods for themselves and their communities.

Magararu said the award reinforces the company’s commitment to developing inclusive solutions that address the diverse needs of Filipinos.

At Allianz PNB Life, we believe that true inclusion means creating solutions that reflect the diverse realities of the people we serve,” she said. “As we continue to serve, we remain dedicated to developing more initiatives that help Filipinos from all walks of life achieve a more secure future.”

The latest recognition underscores Allianz PNB Life’s continuing efforts to integrate social impact into its business strategy while expanding access to financial protection and economic opportunities for underserved communities.
