It’s already a big achievement if one manages to have his or her billboard prominently and strategically displayed along the stretch of EDSA or any prestigious location in the Philippines for that matter.
But in Times Square in New York City, USA? That would be a really, really big deal, especially for Asians, and more importantly for Filipinos.
Just listen to Heart Evangelista, who’s now on cloud nine for having her own billboard featured in one of the world’s famous and iconic landmarks.
“I still can’t believe that my billboard for @iasthreads is displayed in Times Square in New York!” says the stylish Heart on her Instagram account.
The billboard is an advertisement from Ia’s Threads, a sustainable brand product she currently endorses, and is owned by Ia Faraoni, a New York-based Pinoy fashion designer.
She expressed her thanks via Instagram for being given “an incredible opportunity to highlight a sustainable brand that shows the talented craftsmanship of Filipino artisans. God is truly good!”
The actress-host-singer-visual media artist-celebrity endorser-philanthropist and wife to Sorsogon Gov. Francis “Chiz” Escudero is part of Forbes France Top 10 Most Fashionable Influencers in the world and included in Vogue 100 in 2019.
