THE Office of the City Prosecutor of Quezon City recommended the filing of “grave threats” charges in relation to the Cybercrime Prevention Act against a driver who threatened to shoot presidential aspirant and former Sen. Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
The suspect was identified as Michael Go, who was arrested by authorities last Friday, April 1, 2022 as is currently detained.
Recommended bail was set at P72,000 for Go’s temporary liberty.
According to the police’s initial investigation, Go posted on popular social media platform Twitter where he shared that he was blocked by the convoy of Marcos Jr. last 2016.
It was reported in Go’s post that Marcos Jr. should be careful when passing by a portion of Tandang Sora in Quezon City because Go will shoot him if the former senator passes by that area.
Go’s tweet added that he was not afraid of jail or death because it would be an honor for him to seek vengeance for the activist-victims of violence during Martial Law.
