FOR the duration of the re-imposed hard lockdown in the National Capital Region and adjoining provinces, the government is going house-to-house to check on suspected carriers of the deadly virus from Wuhan, China.

Interviewed over the radio, National Task Force against COVID-19 spokesperson Restituto Padilla said that the government is implementing house visits for possible COVID-19 cases and bring them to isolation facilities if only to guarantee that contamination stops from there.

Padilla, a retired military general, said that the government’s Prevention, Detection, Isolation, Treatment, and Reintegration (PDITR) strategy will be strictly enforced.

He hinted that such a measure would be strictly enforced in areas logging in high numbers of infections as per report from the Department of Health.

Gagawin yan kung kinakailangan sa mga lugar na tumataas ang kaso,” added the NTF spokesperson even as he expressed belief that there are individuals who are not even aware that they’re already infected.

NCR and the adjoining provinces of Rizal, Cavite, Laguna and Bulacan have been reverted back under ECQ until April 4 as an offshoot of the nearly 10,000 daily infections.

Under the re-imposed ECQ, everyone is expected to be inside their residences before 6:00 pm.
