With 2.5 seconds left on the clock, SJ Belangel hit a game-winning three point shot and gave Gilas Pilipinas a come-from-behind win over South Korea, 81-78 in the ongoing 2021 Fiba Asia Cup Qualifying Tournaments at Angeles University Gym in Clark, Pampanga tonight.
With the victory, Team Philipines is already qualified to the Asia Cup and also the bragging rights of finally winning again over the rival South Koreans since 2013.
Gilas has now recorded a 4-0 record to on top Group A while the Koreans loses its first game (2-1) for the second spot.
