AFTER two failed attempts to secure a seat in the Philippine Senate in 2016 and 2019, Atty. Lorenzo “Larry” Gadon will try again to seek a national position.
Atty. Gadon went to the Sofitel Garden in Pasay City on Tuesday morning to file his Certificate of Candidacy (COC).
It will be the third attempt for Atty. Gadon. to seek an elective post.
He attributed his third attempt at a Senate seat to what he called false promises of the previous Aquino administrations and because of his desire to amend certain clauses in the 1987 Constitution, which he deemed as huge barriers to the country’s economic development, he said after filing his COC.
Gadon, who gained national prominence for filing an impeachment complaint against ousted former Supreme Court Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno, is himself facing several disbarment complaints.
He only placed 27th during the 2016 elections and ranked 28th in his 2019 senatorial bid.
