Former US President Barack Obama pays tribute to Chadwick Boseman

Like a fast-running panther, the news about the death of Hollywood star Chadwick Boseman was heard growling in all corners of the globe.

The Black Panther star died at age 43 after a four-year battle with colon cancer, Not only the entertainment insdutry is remembering the actor who became a household name when he starred in the title role of the Marvel superhero.

Former US President Barack Obama paid tribute to the late actor via Twitter saying that he noticed something special in Boseman early in his career when he visited the White House after playing Jackie Robinson in the sports film “42.”

In his tweet, the Obama said, “Chadwick came to the White House to work with kids when he was playing Jackie Robinson. You could tell right away that he was blessed. To be young, gifted, and Black; to use that power to give them heroes to look up to; to do it all while in pain – what a use of his years.”
