Five individuals who were evacuees from recent flooding in Marikina City tested positive for coronavirus disease or COVID-19.
This was divulged by non-other than the mayor himself Marcelino Teodoro, after the results came out several days ago prior to the conducting of surveillance testing on 12,000 residents of the city who are staying in various evacuation centers.
“Out of 12,000 na sinurveillance testing sa mga evacuation center, may 153 na naging reactive sa rapid test doon sa antibodies, and out of that 153, may lima na nagpositibo at nasa quarantine facilities na,” pahayag ni Teodoro.
The official also said “those individuals who have in close contacts with these people, turned out to be negative,”
