THE First Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) is a go for this year.
The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) announced that the NSED will be held on March 10, and the program of activities will be done online.
The program will start at 8 o’clock in the morning and will be streamed live via the NDRRMC and Civil Defense PH Facebook pages.
In preparation for the First Quarter NSED, a disaster preparedness webinar will be held on March 7, which will focus on the disaster preparedness of women, children, the youth, students and senior citizens.
The NDRRMC called on the public to be ready any time and to cooperate in the programs and activities that seek to intensify the readiness of each individual and family against the threat of natural disasters such as earthquakes, typhoons, volcanic eruptions and other calamities.
This will be the seventh online NSED that will be undertaken by the NDRRMC since 2020.
