The governor personally visited the families along with Board Member Alex Castro and personnel from the PSWDO.
Fernando said an additional P10,000 will also be given to each family and directed Tiongson to immediately process the papers for the release of the cash assistance.
Barangay Poblacion Captain JR Morales immediately responded to the fire site to provide rescue and assistance while concerned citizens flocked to the evacuation site and sent relief goods.
Several tents were built at the middle of a riceland near the fire site that will serve as temporary shelters for fire victims.
The fire lasted for almost 3 hours before fire-out was declared. No one was reported injured in the incident.
