DAYS after Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Chairman Danilo Lim died after being infected with the deadly virus from China, President Rodrigo Duterte named a replacement.
Appointed as new MMDA chair is former Mandaluyong City Mayor Benhur Abalos.
The former mayor is the second Abalos to be named to the MMDA top post.
His father Benjamin Abalos also had stints as MMDA boss.
Noneother than Senator Bong Go who confirmed the young Abalos’ appointment.
