As part of Enchanted Kingdom’s (EK) milestone 30th anniversary celebration in 2025, the theme park proudly introduces EKlipse—an exhilarating new attraction that promises to redefine thrill-seeking in Southeast Asia. This groundbreaking ride offers a heart-pounding experience with its unpredictable rotating motion and mesmerizing visual illusion created as its arms intersect.
Designed to captivate guests of all ages, including pre-teens and teenagers, EKlipse fosters shared moments of excitement and wonder, enriching the multi-generational magic that EK has delivered for decades.
A Grand Launch to Remember
The EKlipse Grand Launch was a spectacular affair, featuring high-energy performances from rising P-pop group GAT, The Clash Season 6 grand champion Naya Ambi, and the dynamic Filipino boy group AJAA. EK’s very own P-pop sensation, SMS, further electrified the crowd with their latest single, Meant 2 Shine, as well as the theme song of EKlipse, which plays throughout the ride, enhancing the immersive experience.
The enchanting evening was graced by Santa Rosa City Vice Mayor Arnold Arcillas, who participated in the symbolic unveiling of the ride marquee. Joining him were EK President and Chairman Cesar Mario Mamon, Chief Operating Officer Cynthia Mamon, Head of Integrated Marketing, Organization Development, and Corporate Planning Nico Mamon, as well as EK’s beloved characters, Eldar the Wizard and twin princesses Victoria and Madeline.
As the marquee was unveiled, EKlipse sprang to life, illuminating the night with a dazzling display of synchronized dancing lights, highlighting the ride’s stunning visual appeal. The celebration culminated in EK’s signature Sky Wizardry Fireworks Display, infused with the vibrant colors of EKlipse, adding a magical touch to the grand event.
In an enchanting twist, Eldar the Wizard extended the park’s operating hours on Sunday, granting guests extra time to enjoy EKlipse and the park’s array of attractions.
Honoring the Visionary Behind EK’s Magic
Adding to the momentous occasion, EK proudly announced that its President and Chairman, Cesar Mario Mamon, has been awarded the prestigious Inspiration Award for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) Region by the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) on March 25. This esteemed recognition makes him the first Filipino to receive the honor from the leading global attractions trade association.
The Inspiration Award celebrates visionary individuals who have propelled innovation within the amusement park and attractions industry. With over three decades of pioneering contributions, Mr. Mamon’s influence extends beyond the Philippines, leaving an indelible mark across Asia. His legacy includes serving as the first Asian Chairman of IAAPA in 2013 and founding the Philippine Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (PhilAAPA).
Mr. Mamon will officially receive the Inspiration Award at the IAAPA Honors 2025, scheduled to take place in Germany from April 28 to 30.
