FROM the looks of it, President Rodrigo Duterte may not be appearing for his weekly national address this week.
In a press briefing, presidential spokesperson Harry Roque said that President Rodrigo Duterte’s regular public address may have to be deferred for the second time because the Malacañang chief executive had just returned from a Regional Peace Council meeting in Dumaguete City.
“Talk to the People will be moved tomorrow. Nakauwi na kami galing Dumaguete, ala una na. Medyo puyat po lahat, including ang mga tao sa OP [Office of the President],” Roque said.
“Kaya sa Wednesday ang Talk to the People,” Roque added.
Duterte was supposed to appear before national television for his weekly public address on Monday night, but Roque said this was postponed due to the Dumaguete engagement.
