THE partial list of department heads in Manila City Hall under the administration of incoming Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso has been released to the public.
In the first released list, former Presidential Communications Office Secretary Cesar Chavez is included under Domagoso’s leadership and will be the new mayor’s Chief of Staff (COS).
Chavez was also Domagoso’s COS when he took office as city mayor in 2019.
Former councilor Manuel “Letlet” Zarcal will be Secretary to the Mayor, while Atty. Wardee Quintos will be assigned to the Office of the City Administrator.
E-Jhay Talagtag will serve as the new head of the Manila Public Information Office (PIO).
Hiroshi Umeda and Dale Evangelista will be placed in the Public Employment Service Office or PESO and the Manila Sports Council.
Jay dela Fuente, who previously held the said department during the tenure of the late former Manila Mayor Alfredo Lim, will return to the Manila Department of Social Welfare.
Cristal Bagatsing will replace Charlie Dungo as head of the Department of Tourism, Culture and Arts of Manila.
It is expected that in the coming days, the full list of department heads in the Domagoso administration will be unveiled.
