THE distribution of Automated Election System (AES) supplies for the May 9, 2022 polls will start tonight, according to the Commission on Elections (Comelec).
The AES supplies will be sent to different provinces in the country, says Comelec spokesperson James Jimenez.
Among the supplies to be distributed are the ballot boxes, the Vote Counting Machines (VCM) and others.
The supplies will come from Sta. Rosa, Laguna wherein the trucks that will transport them will be sealed before they depart for the various transportation warehouses.
Priority area for the distribution of the AES supplies will be Mindanao, according to Jimenez.
It is expected that the distribution will be completed within two weeks or by April 19, 2022.
