DigiPlus Interactive Corp. secured two honors at the 2026 Inside Asian Gaming (IAG) Academy Awards, becoming the inaugural recipient of the Best iGaming Operator and Best iGaming Innovation awards.
The company, which operates digital entertainment brands BingoPlus, ArenaPlus and GameZone, received the awards during a ceremony held at Marriott Manila on 15 September 2026.
Established in 2021, the IAG Academy Awards recognize achievements across the Asia-Pacific gaming and integrated resort industry. This year’s edition introduced an Online Gaming Offerings division for the first time, in partnership with Complete iGaming (CiG), IAG’s sister publication covering the global online gaming industry.
DigiPlus won Best iGaming Innovation for its “Homegrown Livestream Digital Bingo and Perya Games,” which combine localized content, proprietary production and real-time player interaction.
The company also received the Best iGaming Operator award, which recognized its role and contributions to the Philippine online gaming industry.
“We are proud to be the first-ever winners of these two IAG Academy Awards, which affirm DigiPlus’ contributions to the growth and innovation of the gaming industry across Asia-Pacific. This recognition from the industry inspires us to keep raising the bar for digital entertainment through localized innovation, operational excellence, and responsible gaming,” DigiPlus President Ping Chen said.
According to IAG, winners of the annual awards are determined through a merit-based judging process involving industry experts from across the region.
Ben Blaschke, managing editor of Inside Asian Gaming and group managing editor for Asia-Pacific at Complete iGaming, said 100 industry judges participated in this year’s selection process.
“The IAG Academy Awards feature a rigorous nomination and judging process, with exactly 100 experienced industry judges casting their votes,” Blaschke said, adding that the awards are not influenced by sponsorship.
Blaschke said the introduction of the online gaming division in 2026 received a positive response from the industry.
“With 2026 representing the first time the IAG Academy Awards have included an online gaming division — powered by Complete iGaming — we were delighted to receive such a positive response and are thrilled to see DigiPlus rewarded for its contribution and performance,” he said.
