Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray ignored the military General’s warning regarding her continuing support for the women’s group, Gabriela.
According to Atty. Joji Alonso, Gray’s lawyer, the beauty queen does not care nor affected by the threat of Southern Luzon Command Chief Lt. Gen. Antonio Parlade Jr. because it will continue to support groups promoting women’s rights, no matter what it may cost to her.
Even actresses Liza Soberano and Angel Locsin were threatened by Parlade, who is the head of the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict.
Meanwhile, Commission on Human Rights (CHR) Commissioner Gwendolyn Pimentel-Gana lambasted Parlade’s statement and reminded the army General to be careful with the words he says in regards to ‘red-tagging’ issues.
