CZECH Republic president Milos Zeman tested positive of COVID-19.
The president was brought to the hospital, although it was reported that he had no symptoms.
The 77-year-old Czech Republic chief executive just came out of the hospital due to a chronic condition.
Even before he was brought to the hospital, President Zeman already ordered the cancellation of the Christmas market and the early closing hours of bars, clubs and restaurants.
It was learned that 25,000 new COVID-19 cases were recorded in the entire country last Tuesday, which made it as one of the countries with the highest coronavirus infection rates in the world.
The rate of transmission is expected to rise further, that is why the Czech Republic decided to impose strict restrictions.
