There are at least 2,000 new cases of Coronavirus Disease or COVID-19 in the Philippines.
According to the latest data from the Department of Health (DOH) on Sunday (November 8), there have been 396,395 new confirmed cases of the infectious disease.
Of that number 27,218 or 6.2 percent are active cases.
The department said a total of 2,442 new COVID-19 cases were recorded in the country.
82.0 percent of active COVID-19 cases are mild; 9.6 percent are asymptomatic; 3.1 percent are severe while 5.4 percent are in critical condition.
Another 54 were reported died of the virus.
As a result, COVID-19 related deaths in the country have risen to 7,539 or 1.90 percent while 11,430 total numbers of recoveries.
The total recoveries of COVID-19 in the country have reached to 361,638 or 91.2 percent.
