THE number of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) positive cases in Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon) has reached to 53,448.
Based on the latest data from the Department of Health Center for Health Development Region 4A (DOH-CHD-4A) on Friday (October 30), with a total of 492 new cases in the region.
The numbers of positive cases in the cities includes:
Cavite – 14,826; Laguna – 14,953; Batangas -9,322; Rizal – 10,754; Quezon – 3,593
The number of active cases in the province is at 8,119 while the number of recoveries has reached 43,908 with 919 new recorded recoveries.
Here are the numbers of recovered patients in the cities of:
Cavite – 12,162; Laguna – 13,238; Batangas – 8,122; Rizal – 8,314; Quezon – 2,072
The number of COVID-19 related deaths in the region has increased by 24, which is now the number has reached to 1,421.
Number in deaths in the provinces:
Cavite – 390; Laguna – 308; Batangas – 253; Rizal – 354; Quezon – 106
The DOH once again reminds us to carefully follow and do the following to prevent the spread of COVID-19:
