THE chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP) Police General Dioanrdo Carlos said the public has nothing to worry about in the change of leadership within the PNP’s ranks one day before the election.
In an interview with media in Camp Crame, PGen. Carlos said his retirement on May 8 will not in any way affect the operations of the PNP.
He explained that the PNP already has a contingency plan to ensure the continuity in the organization.
In fact, PNP personnel already know what they have to do until June 30, 2022.
Meanwhile, PGen. Carlos said they are already on practice stage, and PNP personnel, including assets, are already in place on the day of the national and local polls on May 9, 2022.
