Coast Guard rescued 2 of 3 fishermen went missing for 12-days out in the sea

THE Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) on Thursday, October 29, rescued two of the three fishermen who were reported missing for 12-days in the waters off Paluan, Occidental Mindoro since the height of typhoon Quinta.

According to reports, the fishermen sailed on October 17, where they experienced strong winds and big waves, causing their fishing boat to capsize.

The PCG) and the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) of Balayan, Batangas conducted a series of Search and Rescue operation to the other fisherman who is still missing.
