Classes will remain suspended throughout the province of Cagayan until November 30.
The suspension will cover all levels in private and public schools.
According to the Cagayan Public Information Office, due to the severe damage left by the massive flooding in the province caused by Typhoon Ulysses is the main reason for Governor Manuel Mamba to suspend all classes.
The governor said it aims to give students, teachers and parents the opportunity to focus on renovating their homes, equipment and livelihoods.
Time must also be given to the adjustment in the education sector.
Meanwhile, government employees in Cagayan will return for work starting tomorrow on Wednesday, November 18.
