Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- To keep the spirit of “BAYANIHAN” ablaze, Central Luzon cops continue its relentless service to the communities to alleviate poverty thru its ‘Rektang-Bayanihan’ program.
Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) Director Brig. General Rhodel Sermonia said that at least 290,647 families in central Luzon have already benefited in the said program which was launched three days after the implementation of the Enhanced Community Quarantine last March 17.
Sermonia said that with PRO3’s Food Bank, ‘Rektang-Bayanihan’ is being sustained thru donations of the different government agencies and stakeholders all over the region.
The CL’s top cop renewed his appeal to all kind-hearted and wealthy kababayans to help provide for the less fortunate or most vulnerable sectors in every Barangay thru “Rektang Bayanihan”.
“Our own program is also in line with the thrusts of the Chief of the Philippine National Police General Camilo Cascolan to rekindle the “Bayanihan Spirit,” Sermonia stressed.
