A TOP Palace official today encouraged all registered voters to use the May 9 national and local elections and choose the country’s next set of leaders who have the interest of the nation and the welfare of the citizens in their minds.
In an Election Day message, Secretary Martin Andanar, Presidential Communications Secretary and Acting Presidential Spokesperson said that tomorrow, May 9, 2022, the Filipino people will exercise their right to vote.
“This is another proof of the strength of our democracy and stability of the republic,” the statement read.
“Let us all go out early to the polling centers and vote for candidates according to the dictates of our hearts while continuing to observe the existing health and safety protocols,” the statement adds.
“Mabuhay ang Pilipinas. Mabuhay ang mamamayang Pilipino.”
