THE Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) reported that a Cessna 152-type aircraft crash landed in Sual in Alaminos, Pangasinan this morning.
In an advisory, the CAAP said the Cessna 152 aircraft, the RP-C8202 of Fly Fast Aviation Academy, went down at 9 am. The plane carried a flight instructor and a student pilot as its passengers.
The plane, which flew for an orientation flight, left Lingayen Airport at 8:22 am.
The pilot-in-command was fatally injured in the crash. The student pilot, on the other hand, was brought to a nearby hospital in Alaminos for medical treatment.
The CAAP Aircraft Accident Investigation and Inquiry Board’s (AAIIB) Go Team was already dispatched to the crash scene to determine the cause of the accident, the advisory said.
The crash site is already being examined and more information will be made available once the investigation is finished. The identities of the aircraft’s passengers were also withheld pending notification of their relatives.
