Central terminal to rise soon at Freeport Area of Bataan

A CENTRAL terminal facility for the Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB) will soon rise not only to help decongest traffic but also provide growth opportunities for businesses and convenience for commuters.

The FAB Central Terminal, according to Atty. Christopher Ryan Tan, Chief Executive Officer of the Hausland Group, will cater to all types of vehicles, and will also link the Freeport area to the rest of Mariveles and other neighboring towns.

The 5.9-hectare FAB Central is a mixed-use development project conceptualized by the Hausland Group and the Authority of Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB). It is divided into five major zones, including a central transport terminal facility, a commercial mall area with several drive-thru prime retail commercial spaces, a heritage tourism spot featuring The Bataan Death March, commercial offices tech-based companies, Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) companies, Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGOs) and interim dormitories that can be converted to hotels and recreation areas.

Bataan Governor Abet Garcia was present at the event along with Vice Governor Cris Garcia, Bataan 2nd District Congressman Joet Garcia III, Hausland Group President and Chairman, Wilfredo Tan and Hausland Group CEO Atty. Tan, as well as the Authority of Freeport Area of Bataan Administrator Engr. Emmanuel Pineda and Deputy Administrator Alewijn Aidan Ong.

Hausland Group, through its development brand, FIESTA Communities, has been developing affordable housing in Mariveles since 2018. Now it seeks to play a part in the growth of the area and give back to the province and the community through this project.
