CAR, Regions 8 and 10 among the regions placed under Alert Level 1

MOUNTAIN Province in the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), Southern Leyte in Region VIII, and Misamis Oriental in Region X were among the new areas in regions placed under Alert Level 1.

This was declared by the Inter-Agency Task Force on Friday, April 8, 2022, according to Sec. Martin Andanar, Presidential Communications Secretary and Acting Presidential Spokesperson

Also placed under Alert Level 1 are Buguias in Benguet in the CAR, Atimonan and Tiaong in Quezon in Region IV-A, Santa Magdalena in Sorsogon and City of Masbate in Masbate in Region V, Batad and Zarraga in Iloilo in Region VI, City of Talisay in Cebu in Region VII, Javier (Bugho) and La Paz in Leyte, Maslog in Easter Samar and Paranas (Wright) in Samar (Western Samar) in Region VIII, Linamon in Lanao del Norte and Calamba in Misamis Occidental in Region X, Padada in Davao del Sur in Region XI, Sibagat in Agusan del Sur and Tubajon and Cagdianao in Dinagat Islands in CARAGA.

This Alert Level 1 status in the abovementioned areas shall take effect tomorrow, April 9, 2022 until April 15, 2022, Andanar said.

All other provisions as to the Alert Level of provinces, highly urbanized cities, independent component cities, component cities and municipalities under IATF Resolution No.165-E not affected by the abovementioned Alert Level classification shall remain in effect until April 15, 2022.
