DIMINUTIVE Pinoy gymnast Caloy Yulo stood tall once again as he ruled a different apparatus this time at the 50th FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships held at Kitakyushu, Japan.
The world gymnastics champion may have lost his floor exercise world crown he won in 2018 but more than made up for it with a swashbuckling performance at the vault.
Yulo submitted scores of 14.80 and 15.03 for an average of 14.916 to rule the vault finals.
And for the second time, he bested seven other world-class gymnasts.
This win more than made up for his disappointing performance in the floor exercises, which he won in 2018.
He finished fourth in the vault at the recently concluded Tokyo Olympics.
