CITY OF MALOLOS, Bulacan – BULACAN has already set in motion its preparations for the onslaught of super typhoon “Rolly”.
Bulacan Governor Daniel Fernando said that the provincial government has already prepared its evacuation centers like the provincial Gymnasium and the Bulacan Sports Complex.
The isolation tent for COVID-19 provided by the League of Provinces was also established at the latter.
Health protocol guidelines set by the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) will be strictly implemented, particularly on social distancing, wearing of face mask and face shields, the governor explained and added all local disaster risk reduction management office were given directives to follow the said guidelines.
As of Saturday, Fernando said preventive evacuations have already begun for families living along river banks and waterways including on geohazard identified places and coordination were already made with different disaster and rescue groups in the province, Meralco, North Luzon Expressway, among others.
