OLONGAPO CITY – FOR the second time, the Philippine Red Cross (PRC), led by PRC Olongapo City Chapter Director and concurrent Barangay Gordon Heights Chairman Echie Ponge, conducted a Bloodletting program here at the covered court of the said barangay that started 8:00 a.m. and will conclude at 5:00 p.m. in the afternoon, same day, Sunday, November 22, 2020.
Among those who donated were the Phil Army (reserves) Of 306 (ZAM) CDC, 3RCDG of ARESCOM led by Company Commander 1Lt Marvin Tibunsay and Master Sergeant Dennis García, Sangguniang kabataan (SK-Gordon Heights) led by Marie Mar Teofilo Ignisaban, BPAT, Purok Leaders, Fire and Rescue Team, PNP Personnel, residents here and in other Barangays who voluntarily donated their blood.
Due to the widespread pandemic in the country, social distancing, wearing facemask and face-shield were observed during the program.
And of course, free food and snacks were given by Chairman Echie as a sign of his gratitude for those who attended the program.
