The Baylor Bears are the best college basketball team in America this year after manhandling the previously undefeated Gonzaga Bulldogs at the NCAA Championship game today.
The Bulldogs took their first loss of the season, falling 86-70 to the Bears who were led by star guard Jared Butler with 22 points.
In a surprisingly lopsided season finale, Baylor celebrated its first-ever men’s basketball title and after 73 years of absence in the NCAA finals.
Baylor led 29-10 less than 10 minutes into the game and never looked back.
