BUSINESSMAN and gaming tycoon Atong Ang is now among those being investigated by the Department of Justice (DOJ) in connection with the case of the “missing sabungeros.”
This was confirmed by DOJ chief Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla on Thursday after an alias named Ang and Gretchen Barretto, initially identified as a showbiz personality, were named.
In the ambush interview, Remulla said that they would be included as suspects after being identified by Julie Patidongan or better known as “Alyas Totoy.”
But according to the secretary, they are continuing to build up the case in this regard.
Aside from Ang and Barretto, Remulla said they are also investigating up to 20 people related to e-sabong.
