THE number of arrested election gun ban violators increased further according to the Philippine National Police (PNP).
The number of arrested violators have gone up already to 1,695.
From among those arrested, 1,631 were civilians, 26 were security guards, 15 were from the police and 9 were soldiers.
The National Capital Region (NCR) still leads with the most number of election gun ban violators arrested followed by Region 7, Region 4-A, Region 3 and Region 6.
On the other hand, a total of 1,322 firearms were confiscated by the PNP in the ongoing gun ban.
