Applications for DOLE’s CAMP 3 initiative now closed

THE Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) announced that it had already stopped receiving applications for the COVID-19 Adjustment Measure Program or CAMP 3.

Under the program, there will be a one-time financial assistance worth P5,000 for every worker in the private sector affected by the implementation before of Alert Level 3 or any higher alert level.

However, the alert level has already gone down in many areas of the country mainly because of the continued decline of the number of COVID-19 cases.

The Labor department said that because of this, it has already receiving online applications for CAMP 3 assistance last March 4.

However, DOLE Secretary Silvestre Bello III said that in case the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) declares Alert Level 3, they will re-open and start accepting applications for CAMP 3.

He likewise assured that all applications accepted by the DOLE before the closing of applications shall be processed and will undergo evaluation, in compliance with Labor Advisory No. 06 Series of 2022.

Applicants can track their submitted applications through the DOLE website or by visiting the DOLE Facebook page.

Based on data from March 6, almost 30,000 applications for CAMP 3 were submitted and approved by the DOLE.
