Former House Speaker and Taguig-Pateros Representative Alan Peter Cayetano, who belongs to the new political group “BTS” or “Balik Tamang Serbisyo,” said that they only want the best for the Filipino people when it comes to the COVID-19 vaccine.
“We want the best for the Filipino people. Any kind of vaccine, pabor po kami basta approved ng FDA (Food and Drug Administration),” Cayetano said.
The group recently went to Sta. Rosa, Laguna and visited the health workers there. They distributed relief packs and cash aid for the BHWs as gratitude for their service during the time of the pandemic.
The event also served as a surprise birthday celebration for former Deputy Speaker and Laguna 1st District Congressman Dan Fernandez of Sta. Rosa, Laguna.
The other members of BTS include House Deputy Speaker and Camarines Sur 2nd District Rep. Luis Raymund “Lray” Villafuerte Jr., Batangas 2nd District Representative Raneo Abu, and Bulacan 1st District Representative Jose Antonio Sy-Alvarado.
